Screen is completely white after installing new faceplate?

I replaced the faceplate for the verizon iphone 4. When I turn the phone on the screen is all white. I can call the phone and it rings. I can not answer it. I have no icons. I tried rebooting it with the top button and bottom button to no avail. What next ? any ideas?

Einstellungen

Open up the panel covering the video connector etc.. and make sure it is plugged all the way in. Also make sure you haven't pinched the cable when you were putting it on.

To be more specific I mean the Lcd cable and the digitizer cable.
