My iPhone 4s lock button has already been broken for several months but I dropped it a few hours ago and it will no longer turn on when plugged into a charger. Are there any other ways for me to turn the phone on?

Sounds like the battery is bad,may need replacing,first before I would at least try a new charger or usb connecter,or try on a ipod or something ,with currrent adapter,if all else fails,could be the shock to the lcd inside is now bad,but I would try the battery replacement,if u do all that and still nothing and u no its all good,lcd,replacement,lot of screws,take ur time ,and get the removal tool to take digitizer off,anything else will crack and bust it,but is fixable and cheaper than buying new one,can find a lcd online at various stores pretty cheap,good luck
