Changed battery, now wont turn on

Hi guys, i just got a new battery for my iphone 3gs and replaced the old one, the first time i plugged it in it turned on and everything seemed to be working fine but i forgot to plug in the camera so i reopened it plugged the camera in screwed the motherboard back in plugged in all the connectors except this time i couldn't plug in the #7 connector and ever since than i haven't been able to make the phone turn on and i read that the #7 connector is suppose to be the antenna so i thought it should still turn on without it but idk if its the connector or something else hope you guys can help me.

Next to camera connector there are some resistor that related with LCD. Check if there is a damage. Thats why you may missing the picture on LCD. Since you reconnected the camera some resistors may be damaged. Those resistors usually gets damaged when you remove the mainboard. It touches to frame hook just next to camera. Mainboard removal is cousing picture loss on 3gs a lot. But it is still repairable.

So I just found out i bought an iphone 3g battery rather than a 3gs do you think its the battery or what you said because it did turn on even with though it was a 3g battery

Ofcourse that may the problem. 3g and 3gs batteries are totally different. In my experience 3g battery in 3gs turns on but shuts down every minute. So its not stable. You need a 3gs battery.
