I replaced the battery but still when booting(plugged in) shows apple then fades and nothing blacks out.. what to do?? also when plugged into computer with combo cable it stays on but dies when unplugged...

Is the battery fully charged when you unplug it ?
did you check the battery solderings on the logic board ?
