i think for replacing the HDD of the Asus F201e, because it is very slow and i can´t stand this.
Now my question:
I read the Step-by-Step Guide to Replace the HDD but you don´t write a word about the size of the HDD. Is it 2.5" or 1.8"??

derflo, since the replacement is a Samsung 830, it is easy to determine that it is a 2.5" drive. Hope this helps, good luck.

My advice is that you check for all causes that could be slowing your lap, may be don't need an hdd change, sometimes even a defragment can help, os change... micro too hot, memory amount... tooo many causes.
