My touch screen stopped responding when touched. The phone is still receiving messages and calls, but i cannot respond because the touch screen is locked and accepts nothing. I have powered on and off multiple times, and done a power, volume up reset as well. Nothing. Any ideas?

The digitizer could be done for. The only thing you could do to fix a digitizer is buy a completely new digitizer, dismantle the phone to remove the old digitizer, install the new one, and put the phone back together.
