Exchanging boards on iPad 4
Hi is it possible just to replace a logic board that is Apple ID locked with another board from another iPad which is the same model?

Short answer is yes, but it is usually cost prohibitive.

Cheers Brian, I have 2 of the same model, 1 locked and unsure of the other. Was just going to change them but wasn't sure if they would register? Have you done any of this kind of repair before?

Yes if the board in the same model works then it will work in the other locked ipad
