does the iPod show the charging process ??

von

It flashes between the very low battery and the "apple" and "iPod frown, exclamation mark" screens.I plugged it into a wall unit and the same thing happened and the iPod got hot.

von

von

It gets hot in the back by the plug-in.

it's hard to tell whats wrong, but a battery should never get "hot".

i would highly recommend that you remove that battery from your iPod!

overheated batteries can not only destroy your device - a burning/exploding battery can cost life.

i would contact the seller and try to get a replacement battery - the one you got is definatly not ok
