Cradle arm just hangs there..

I have a ge refrigerator gss25qgtb and when you push on the arm that normally dispenses the ice and water, nothing happens and it just seems to hang there. Last night there was a clicking sound as it tried to engage but now nothing. Any thoughts.... Oh and before this we weren't getting any water but the ice was working.
