Erratic touchscreen, will replace the digitizer fix it?

Hello, I can see the lower left side of my tablet's screen is a little loose, I can even push a little bit and see it moving. This is causing erratic touches on the lower left (taping the "back" button) and even sometimes the touch screen totally dies (fixing it doing a block/unblock). Some friend told me to buy a Digitizer in ebay and replace it myself.

I was wondering if maybe you know what exactly is causing this behavior? and if replacing the digitizer will actually fix the issue?
