My LCD is ok but cell fone not displaying any thing

My LCD is ok but cell fone not displaying any thing on LCD. Its completely blank. on booting, the htc sound plays and vibrator also work but LCD is completely blank.

I went to a repair shop and he put my LCD on some other HTC desire 700 phone, the LCD was super fine. Kindly help.
