my ipod fell the screen went blank and the screen would only be white.the music would still play but the screem was still white. i put it down for a few months and when i try to charge it today it came on work a little then started flickering after it just went black and wont connect to my computer or turn on.when i use my car charger to charge it it still wont charge, wats wrong

there are a few possible problems
the white screen is sometimes fixable with a hard reset (press and hold the sleep and the home button at the same time until the device restarts) - but since the ipod is completely "dead" - the reset can not work at the moment.
since you didn't use it for a few month - the battery is most likely empty/dead.
depending on the output voltage of the car charger - i would try this one first, but it can take a "few minutes" (i think up to 30 is realistic) until you could see anything on the screen.
so i would try to charge it for 30 minutes in the car and then plug it to a computer, maybe itunes will recognize the ipod then.
if you can revive it, try to reset it - if that won't work, disassemble it and check the display connector
