If the controller is on but car is not responding either there the car's antenna is not extended to the full length for the connection to work

Batteries in car are not properly plug in or dead

So my cars are playing music and I just replaced the batteries, so I know it's not a battery problem.

The antenna doesn't appear retractable. So, what do you mean "extended to the full length"?
