stephanie bryant if this is an older BB gun then it could be caused by dried out seals, bad springs or a leaky air chamber. If you tell us what model your Daisy is we can most likely get you more information on it.

I have a Red Ryder from the 1970s that is super weak but still works. Where can I find the spring and seals for a rebuild? Mark.Fort@att.net?
Fairly new jr red Ryder pops like air pressure but nothing comes out
It's probably a jam and or a broken compression chamber. "You'll shoot your eye out"
Broken spring or plugged barrel

I have a 2000 Millennium Edition Barrel plugged up with BB's. Every things off the gun, don't know how to take Barrel out.
Maybe the issue is related to mechanical failures or plunger and the lever not connecting

To reload a Red Ryder Bb gun, you have to hold the gun pointing up while reloading--that is, cocking--the gun. (This allows the pellets to be brought into position to be fired.

Bought the Red Rider gun at wal mart just right before Christmas. I shot it no more than 4 times. The cocking mechanism jammed it is now loose but will not fill the gun with air. I kve the gun but I am very disappointed how soon it broke and I cannot use

I have had this same problem. Take out the trigger assemble and check to see if the spring that holds up the main spring draw back bar is broken. The plastic part is usually broken. Parts are available from Dasy or other venders.
