1 Blue screen no sound
Lg 60pn5700 smart tv plasma after watching for about 20 min the screen goes blue and no sound. I have to turn it off then back on again and it will work for a little while then does same thing again
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

@gohawks what have you checked? Have you removed the back off your TV to check the boards for some obvious damage, like leaking or domed caps?

Hi,
Just a thought. If it stays on for the same amount of time each time, you haven't got it in store demo mode? Access Settings > Option > Environment Selection - should be set to Home Use.

I work in the hvac trade and very familiar with blown capacitors. So your saying that this tv has capacitors inside? I haven't taken the back off yet but is blown caps a common problem with tvs?

Jeff, there are quite a few on the individual boards. Most likely a bit smaller than the once you are used to, but identical function.

Can they be swapped out individually or does the board have to to be changed?
