This 20 GB Hard Drive should work in a 20 GB iPod 4th Gen and here is another item for the 40 GB iPod.

You should check eBay, they have everything, but i recommend ordering a new part, but something shipping from wherever country you live in, because they tend to take a long time to ship iPod parts in general, a battery for my 5th gen too 3 weeks from china
