my ipod has been cracked for awhile now the screen went totally black where if i press the power button it just lights up either whitish or just back, i need to know how to fix it? does replacing the lcd work or what else do i need?

I think you will need to replace the glass and the display the assembled piece by buying is much easier to replace the part following the guide section into iPod

so buying and lcd screen from amazon and replacing it would be a good choice ? im looking for what to buy so i dont forget to k=buy and important thing to fixing it im not familiar with this im sorry :/
