camera lens will not extend
my camera lens will not extend and is stuck . I get an e18 error message. can it be fixed?

Most likely the lens mechanism is jammed. This may happen because of dirt getting in - a few grains of sand will do it - or because the lens barrel got knocked.
Here's a general guide for resolving this type of problem.
And here's another, written by someone who I believe is also a iFixit contributor ;)
If the lens refuses to budge after you tried the various solutions offered in the guides linked above, take the camera to a reputable repairperson for a quote.
