What is my default phone password

@kale, there is a possibility that the default password for your handset will be 8 zeros (00000000). If it does not work then you can try the last 4 digits of your phone number. If you can't remember the number, then the only solution I know of is to remove the SIM card from the phone (if you have one) and enter the number below. This will erase everything on the phone that is not saved to a memory card (if you have one) or to the SIM card.

@Brenda Walsh yep. this answer is a mere 5 years old and I am sure your phone is not as old. You'll have to give more information about what you got going on and what you are trying to do.

@oldturkey03 I have the same thing going on as Brenda, my friend just got an A12 and was doing a transfer from her Samsung s7 to the new A12 and all of a sudden it locked and is now asking for a passcode with 4 digits including one letter and she never set one up. Have you heard of this? The only option she has now is to reset it but I'm wondering if this is a default pin that is common to new Samsung phones.
