black screen even power turn on
HDD and fan working but the screen still black ,nothing display

I had this issue too and I fixed it by removing, cleaning and then reinstalling the ram. It helped immediately.

As jayeff in the comments has said try an external monitor/tv and see if something happens if something does happen (even if the screen is black but has a signal) if something does happen then there is something wrong with the laptop screen and not the computer [proceed to number 1] if nothing happens then you have a big problem... The GPU is dead (time for a new computer)
1 Does the laptop screen from what you can tell have the backlighting on? (A very slight brightening from when the computer is off, easy to see in a dark room) if it does then the screen is probably fine and the video cables have been lossed somehow, you will have to open the laptop and reseat the connector
If there is no backlighting try reseating the connector anyways if nothing happens still there could be 2 deferent things wrong either the screen is dead (just buy a new screen) or the connector on the motherboard is broken (time to get a new computer...)

Hi, Try connecting an external monitor and see if there is a display showing on it.
