Okay, here's a fun one. My buddy's girlfriend chucked her phone at the wall because she was !#^&@@ lol. Anyway, it twisted the frame and the wifi doesn't work. I inspected and reseated the wifi flex and the antenna. Any idea what else I could possibly try? I hope the logic isn't the issue...

well given that the pone was thrown and mutilated by the impact, there can be many things that may have been affected. quite simply a wire could have broken, any component could have become faulty. you can use the tried and true method of using a known good antenna from a different phone to see whether it is the antenna or the logic board. hopefully it is only the antenna is faulty and all that needs to be replaced. I hope that this is helpful and you get her device working soon.

Probably Wi-Fi chip on the logic board has become cracked / damaged.
