tarjeta de video 661-5969 2G en iMac mid 2011

Buenos dias compañeros,

Mi duda es la siguiente, yo tengo una iMac mid 2011 que se daño la tarjeta grafica y estaba mirando que existe una de 2G(la mía trae original una de 1G) pero en la apple store me dicen que no existe ninguna configuración de imac que venga con tarjeta de 2G lo extraño es que en todos los lugares conocidos de ventas de repuestos de mac ponen como que la tarjeta modelo 661-5969 es compatible con la imac mid 2011 EMC 2429.

Antes de hacer la compra mejor consulto acá si alguien ya a realizado ese cambio y que tal le fue, yo ya e desarmado de pies a cabeza mi imac entonces no es tanto por dificultad de instalación si no que por compatibilidad y estabilidad de la mac?

My question is this, I have a iMac mid 2011 that has a damaged graphics card and was noticing there is a 2 GB version (mine was originally a 1 GB). But at the Apple Store they told me that no iMac configuration comes with 2 GB card! Strange thing is that in all the known parts sales list the card (661-5969) as being compatible with my iMac mid 2011 EMC 2429.

Before making the purchase I though I better consult here if someone already made that change and if this part worked, I've already disassembled from head to toe my iMac so this is not a difficult installation for me. It's only if this is compatibile for my iMac?
