I see you have ram,
2 gig for this mac, can I upgrade directly to a pair of 2 gig chips? Take it from 1 gig to 4 gig ram? Am I able to put a 2 gig chip in each slot?
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

The 20" is A1207, the 24" A1200 both use the same RAM
MAX RAM is 3GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 SODIMM

You can find this out by using our ID-Your-Mac tool.

I am asking because on a PC I have heard you cant mix he sims. You cant have a 1 gb and a 2 gb, for example. you have to have 2 sims the same. Is it a problem with my mac?

It's not a PC.

Yeah I kinda goofed that one. Communication is beautiful only when it works, right? What I should have said is that I have a PC also - I bought the MAC and am transitioning from the PC to the Mac. I know on the PC you have to have the same sims. If you have 4 slots you have to have 4 1 gb sims, or whatever. You cant have a single 2 gb sims and 3 one gb sims. Is my Mac the same way? I have read I can only use 3 gb max, and I have 2 slots. Can I use a 1 gb and a 2 gb sim instead of 2, 2 gb sims and just not be able to access all of it?
