Laser replacement. May I use any Laser for PS3 Super Slim?

Hi everyone,

I'm possesing a PS3 Super Slim. Model: CECH-4004C

My disc drive has the item description: KEM-850 PHA

My question is: Is it possible to replace "my laser" with any ps3 super slim laser???

on the picture below is the laser i ordered from ebay (but haven't received yet)

Looking at the part names you have provided and the compatability list of the laser you have bought, everything should work perfectly. If you still have doubt with the product you have ordered, googling "KEM-850 PHA" will throw up tons of places with replacement parts for exactly that modell.

CECH-4000 refers to the whole PS3 Super Slim model/gen. Don't worry, it should work.

Hi! KES-850A would be the laser. The KES850A and KES-850PHA are both lasers for the Super Slim. They might have some small differences (not an expert on this) but since the listing says that it's also comatible with KES-850PHA you should be good. Hope this help!
