iPod Touch 4th Gen Restore and Screen is Broken

A few days ago I restored my iPod touch to factory to remove everything off of it to have only music on it, now it doesnt work, it wants me to connect to a wifi signal but months ago i broke the screen really bad and cant see half of what shows on the screen. How do I get it to work again for just music?? Someone please help :(
