Can you replace the Charger Port for a Sprout Channel Cubby?

My daughter has wore out the charger port on her cubby. Is there anyway to replace this? I cannot get the charger to charge the battery any more... Please HELP

Yes, it can be replaced. You will probably need some soldering skills to do it.

If you don't know how, most cellphone repair places could do it easily, but I can't vouch for the cost.

I replaced the screen on my daughter's tablet, and it took about a half hour. The tablets aren't terribly complex when it comes to the basic components.
