3 I am connected to the router, why don't I have internet access?
The router is on and I see it on my computer, but I am not able to access the internet.

Since you're connected to the network, the issue might not be with the router. Instead, check your modem. There should be a device that you can trace back from the cable connected to the yellow "WAN" port of your router. Restart that device by unplugging it from the outlet, waiting a few seconds, and then plugging it back in. Attached is the link to the troubleshooting page: D-Link DIR-890L Troubleshooting
