What is happening to my laptop screen?

So I went to my friends house and we played a bit of CS:GO. After a couple hours we decided to play some Halo on his Xbox, but when I turned my laptop back on this happened. please help. Thanks in advance.

Did you use it for a footrest? Looks like the the LCD is leaking through the panel... time for a new screen.
