Replacing headphone jack. It seems to have been shouldered with board

I have tried so many times removing the headphone jack from my moto g2 board. It seems to have been shouldered along with the board i guess...I am actually not sure whether it has been shouldered along with the board or its just pluggable. Pls help as i am only been able to listen the right side of the headphone Left side does not work in my moto G2.
