Just as the title says.
I bought the Time Capsule A1470 on ebay with the description "Hard drive defect" and now I discovered that the SATA-Port is broken. Is there any replacement-option?
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Where exactly is it broken? It depends where it broke. Depending on the location it may or may not be fixable. if the connection on the HDD broke its easy if the connector where the HDD plugs into is broken thats a much harder thing to fix. If that is the case however i can better guide you on the process of fixing it.

Apparently only the plastic around the pins got destroyed. So there's no way to plug it in to a harddrive. But the pins and cable seem okay.
Plastic around what pins? Could you attach a picture of what it looks like?
Ahh i see now. Looks like you do need a new one. You could test it by taping it to the HDD and make sure all the pins are connected and then test it. If not you need to get a new one i dont think they are that expansive tho

Very hard to find replacement .. The cable seems to be a one off for this unit so you would need to buy another dead TC to get the cable.
