My phone says there is an upate . I try to download it and it just say
My found says it is downloading new updates but the percentage downloaded never moves off of 0%. It has been at least 3 hours of trying to download over WiFi. Please help

if the phone is from Wal-Mart or is a Straight talk wireless , they don't update there phones firmware , even if there is an available update , so you can get the unlock code from where you bough it , if you have had it for at least 1 year it is a federal law that they provide you that code , once its unlocked you have more control and options of your phone , you can even switch carriers if you want

The phone is a cricket phone but was hoping to switch to family mobile. And I bought it in June of last year but it hasn't had an active network provider I have just been using it over WiFi.

Yes jayeff Rican access google over WiFi I just cant sign into anyof my accounts. And I still cant do a system update. It still says downloading but no progress
It is very frustrating. I probably shouldn't have done a factory reset

Hi, I'v probably not understood you but can you sign in this way at all buy going to this URL using a browser via WiFi as you can access the internet

You may have been locked out by a factory resetting but should be able to get in if you have the correct email address and password.
