My cheek hits the phone tool bar

My cheek or eat hits the toolbar for the phone when it's in use and turns on pause, speaker and mute. Can it be disabled or moved?

If the toolbar pops up during/right before calls, can you swipe or somehow close the toolbar once the call has been made and still keep the call on the line?
