help- display is white even after restore but siri working

Hi

I kept charging my ipad and after 1 hr, screen turned to white.but siri working. please help. not able to understand it is display or mother board issue. if i press any button white screen all the time. not sure what i should buy and replace.

Please advise.

i tried different options but no luck

1) by pressing 3 buttons (power, volume, home ) more than a min.

2) i did restore the soft ware, thru itunes. so getting recognized

The fact that you get Siri to work means that the iOS has booted successfully, this would tell me that the fault lies with the LCD, id followthis guide to replace the LCD (replacement part)

when we try to switch off , we need to slide display button on touch screen, right , i did that as i am familiar where it exactly displays .but still doesn't work,i mean not getting switched off. still same white screen. so is that LCD problem only or also touch screen glass as well?

could very well be the digitiser has gone too, or one of the digitiser ribbons has come loose. you'll not know for sure until you open up the iPad.
