Phone freezes and requires reboot. Get stuck on reboot screen.

Can figure out why this keeps happening. I have to reboot the phone when it freezes and I've tried factory resetting it, I've tried booting it in safe mode, and I still can't figure it out.

have you tried wiping the full partition in recovery mode?

Let it sit for a little while. Sometimes they can take a really long time to full reset. They even can get hot during this time. How long have you waited to see if it'll reset properly?
