beep sound dell inspiron 15-3521
Iam getting the same problem of beep sound dell inspiron 15-3521, but it is not stopping with 7 or 8 beeps it keeps on beeping, what should i do ?

@gd27 continuous beep is usually a bad motherboard. So start off by getting rid of the static power by turning of the computer, remove the battery, ac adapter and the power cable. Press and hold down the power button for at least thirty. After that, reconnect the AC adapter and the power cable, then try to start it. If that did not work you can try and run the hardware diagnostics. For that shut down the laptop, press the FN key and then press the power button, Let us know what you get with this. It may also be beneficial if you connect an external monitor just to ensure there is nothing on the display. Let us know what you get after all of this.

thanks a lot man , that was very helpful , my laptop is not beeping any more. i powered it on with FN key and after several colorful pages , it went on a checking menu . i clicked on hardware icon and after finishing the checking , reboot ........ everything work perfectly :)
Just the same thing I tried all the things and dos not work, any other thing that may work.
I tried the solution, it says no problems found. Still it continues beeping
I had to check the "thorough test" box, then click on the hardware icon as mentioned sobi (above). It still beeped until W8 booted, reset, then rebooted into itself. The beeping stopped during the final reboot. Thank you so much =)

A 7 beep error code is a CPU failure. (Click on Table of Contents > 2. Dell Notebook Systems > Latitude to find the list of beep error codes and their meaning, pertaining to Dell Latitude laptops).
Since the CPU in your laptop is hard mounted on the motherboard this means that you will need a new motherboard

What is the make and model number of the laptop?
Is the beeping continuous or are there pauses between the beeps e.g. 5 beeps> pause > 5 beeps > pause > 5 beeps > pause etc?
When does the beeping start, before or after the laptop boots into Windows?
Check the CMOS sensor and change it if it is the problem. Mine had a similar problem , it will beep every time it boots found out CMOS sensor gone.

But my laptop does not give display at all and keeps beeping
I have removed the battery and find the beeping stops intermittently. How can I find this sensor? Do you have the p/n for this sensor and offer a general location?
My computer gives out 3 continuous beeps when I turn it on but the screen is still black. I tried to remove ac cable and battery and held Power button for at least thirty, but nothing.
