I just bought a replacement ipod touch 4G rear chrome panel to make my ipod look new again and I dont want to remove my old panel until I know exactly what im doing. I have all the tools needed for the installation. Is there an easy way to do this or will it be difficult?

Jason, not sure of your definition of easy. I think just like anything elses, this depends on your skill level. If you use the teardown here iPod Touch 4th Generation Teardown as a guide, it can be done. Take your time and familiarize yourself with the teardown and what to expect, organize yourself so you do not rush and keep the parts close by and try to finish it up once you get started will help. also, if you can, take lots of pictures when you take it apart so you know where it all goes back too and I am confident you will be fine.
