2ds wont turn on or charge

Bought a broken 2ds off eBay and the description said it wouldn't turn on so I figured a battery replacement would fix it. After replacing the battery and the power button was pressed, nothing would happen. There is no blue LED or a charging LED when plugged into the charger. This was the same issue with both the old and new battery. I also tried reseating all the ribbon cables but the problem remained. PLEASE HELP

Hi!

If the system is not getting any power whatsoever after you replaced the battery and after re-seating all cables, you will need to replace the motherboard itself.

Are you sure this will fix it? I don't want to waste money buying a motherboard to not have it work.

Yes, if the system does not get any power at all you have to change the mainboard. You won't waste your money with this.
