LCD ribbon connector ipad mini 2
Hi all
Just want to ask, can you replace the LCD ribbon connector on a ipad mini 2 as I have punctured it and no longer works.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Do you mean the flex or the connector? Perhaps you can attach a picture or link to one from the repair guide.
If you damaged the actual flex cable that is integrated into the LCD, then no, you can't replace just the flex. If you damaged the connector on the end of the flex, that is possibly repairable (micro-soldering on flexes has little room for error). If you damaged the connector on the logic board, that is repairable.
However, none of these are DIY repairs. They require the proper equipment and skills. It's best to seek out a repair shop that does micro-soldering repairs.
