The left edge top to bottom of the touch screen doesn't work?
It does not acknowledge the touch at all the way down along the edge

@cjv6 any dead areas are related to a failed digitizer circuit. You will have to replace it to repair your tablet. Use this guide to work on your tablet. Also a slightly different tablet, this video should help.
