Why is my tablet freezing up?

I would reset the tablet and clear all data not in use. Perhaps, you can delete apps that take up space and ram. Also, I would install an antivirus app just in case any malware is affecting your device. If the problem persists, backup your device to save any important data, then enter the “recovery mode” to “factory reset” your tablet. Please note, all your data will be wiped out when factory reset the device, if you did not backup your tablet, you will lose all your data. To perform a hard reset press the volume up button and power button simultaneously for 10 seconds until you see the start up logo on the screen.
