The metal plate that covers the screen of my Lenovo Edge 15 is dented at the hinge, making it difficult to open my laptop and creating the possibility of it damaging the screen over time. I've found a replacement metal plate online, but I need to know how to remove the damaged one on my Edge 15 and how to replace it with the new one.

@ajack55 if you are talking about the bezel, see if this this video or this guide Lenovo Edge 15 LCD-Display ersetzen will work for you. If you are talking about the outer top case (LCD rear cover assembly), use the maintenance manual from here (page 100) to remove the complete assembly and use the prior guide to exchange the LCD and other pieces into the new top cover.
