My daughters LeapPad Platinum keeps shutting itself down whilst in middle of playing a video in Leapsearch setting (with wifi turned on). Battery is well charged. Any ideas out there on what is causing this?

We've been having this problem too. I just found another website that said it could be due to inactivity, since the child is not touching anything but just watching videos so the leap pad thinks it's been abandoned and shuts itself down. I'm going to observe my son using it and see if this rings true! Good luck!

Mine is doing the same thing! But it isn't from inactivity. She will be playing it 1 min and then she will take a drink or just look up and it will just shut off....
did u guys figure it out my sons ultimate is it shuts off on him he gets so upset

Hey! We're having the same problem. We tried replacing the battery and that didn't help. It would be nice if someone had a solution because our daughter loves her leap pad!

It's been 5 years. Has no one found a solution? My kid will literally be in the middle of playing a game and it shuts itself off. It's not due to inactivity and leapfrog tech support is a joke. They are no help AT ALL.
