iMac a1311 wont boot, it chimes, but freeze at apple logo.

iMAC wont boot at start up, freeze at apple logo. I try to boot using system installation CD, optical drive spins and read the disk but when the apple logo appears... it freeze. I tried to replace a new harddrive and boot again using the system installation CD but it freeze at apple logo. I even tried replacing the both RAM with new one but still it freezes at apple logo and i can boot the computer. pls help. This is an A1311 3.06 Ghz Core 2 Duo machine.

I don't know if you know the correct procedure for start up from a CD so I gave it.

Einstellungen

Insert your system installation disk and start up holding down the "C" key. Go to the second screen pull down menu to Utilities -> Disk Utility. See if the drive shows up on the left hand side. If so then see if it can be repaired.

,yah, i know the procedure how to boot using system installation CD...im pressing/holding "C" at start up..
