What keyboard backlight colour do you have now?
This is how to check if your model has the keyboard backlight feature.
I'm only asking because the user manual (taken from this Asus support page) doesn't mention the backlight feature for the keyboard at all.
If you do have the feature, and you have Win 10 installed, try downloading and installing the latest Asus ATK Package drivers. Ensure that you download the correct drivers appropriate to your Win 10 OS version (32-bit or 64-bit.). Also take heed of the Notes: near the top of the page, regarding installation of the drivers.

The backlit is not my problem. I hate the auto color change.How donu keep one color of ur choice? Help

I also have tuf fx505dt I use Aura found on the Microsoft app store. However, the keyboard colors will get back to normal after shutting down. I want a better app for this.
thanks aura is working perfectly for me on asus tuf fx505d
The Aura application is Windows based not Linux/Ubuntu.

You need to click FN + Caps Lock!!!

FN and caps lock did,t work so tried FN and the button next to it that looks like a flashing sun both together and worked straight away
fn and spacebar worked!!!

Changing backlit keyboard color in ASUS laptops can be done using the AURA app. You can make lots of changes like change combinations, colors, and a lot more settings are available.

What is the model number of your laptop?
You you mean you want to change the colour of the keyboard backlight or the actual LEDs because they may be faulty?
What happens when you press F10 on the keyboard? Pressing it a few times should change the colour.

so i have the asus tuf fx504 series gaming laptop the backlight is working but i only have red i have tried to use aura but it does not work is there any other method i can use so i dont have to have it red 24/74

I have the FX505DY model and all I was able to do is change the brightness. By pressing FN and the up and down arrows. I installed the Aura Core App but it does nothing. Any insight if my model does this. I don't have the manual or original box as I purchased from Walmart it was there last one and it was on display.
