iPhone 6 PP1V8 Oscar 0 Volt

Hi,

Iphone 6 connected to power supplay 4V will boot until 0.07a - 0.09a and LOOP.

LCD Blank , Not in Recovery or DFU Mode .

Tested Tristar before and after replace 1V8 - 3V0 - 5V0 Lines Ok.

Tested Tigris 3V0 and 5V0 Lines Ok

No Short on VCC Line

PCB Not Heat

No water damaged.

Due Low power amp Loop i suspect to 1V8 SDRAM.

Start to Test all 1V8 lines and i fund 0V at line PP1V8_OSCAR.

IC - U2203 c2247 and c2248-1 instead of PP1V8_OSCAR has 0V.

IC - U2205 c2270-2 instead of PP1V8_OSCAR has 0V.

IC - U2205 c2272 instead of PP3V0_IMU has 0V.

From where PP1V8_OSCAR is taking power ? While Tristar and Tigris 1.8 are OK

Any Help will be highly appreciated

PP1V8_OSCAR is generated directly by the PMIC. If it is shorted (check it in diode mode as well), then you either remove the PMIC or remove U2201/U2203/U2204 to see where the short is coming from.

U2205 and U1901 seem to be the 2 things in common on those 2 missing power lines.... Accelerometer and Compass IC... Not sure if they effect boot... but could always remove U2205 and check voltages under it first and then move to 1901 to test for voltages under it.

Removed and Checked voltages

Under U2205 had 0V

Under U1901 had 0.300V

We share same idea about they dont effect boot , but what else can be when phone boot hang on 0.07a and Tristar + Tigris 1V8 are OK ?
