Fan Noise after hitting it

I bumped my MacBook with the door frame and after that I started noticing that it was making a noise and realized that the fans are not turning off, it wasn't hard, not sure if that caused it but I can hear it now and don't know what it could be, anyone with a similar case? What should I do?

Hey Fede

After bumping the MacBook into the door, this may have caused a glitch with the system

I'd suggest that you restart the MacBook to see if the problem resolves itself, sometimes trauma to the mac like so, can cause abnormal behavior that sometimes is software based.

If the problem persists after restarting the MacBook then it may be hardware based, check to see if there is any damage to the outer casing of the Mac. if there is then assess the area where damage has occured, if not you may need to open the MacBook anyways to ensure no wires or connectors have been shifted or partially disconnected. It also wouldn't hurt to unplug the MacBook's fan and reconnect it, to reset the module

Good Luck!

there is no damage on the outer casing, I turn it off and leave it because I had work to do and when I came back it was still making the noise so the only thing left to do is to open it. I'll let you know if that fixes it

Great! Definitely check for what I mentioned above, those key points may seem like they are the issue. if you could take pictures to show what is inside, so we can try to resolve it more

Took it apart but it still makes a noise(forgot to take a picture) it was really dirty but it is not fixed. Maybe is an idle speed?

Try to open Activity Monitor and see if the CPU is running at a higher rate than normal, and check for any abnormal behavior in there, if you see there is nothing wrong your SMC controller may have got mixed up, you will want to reset this. To do so power down the Mac and then hold the "Shift" + "Control" + "Option" keys on the keyboard to reset the Mac's controller. Since the SMC is responsible for all the MacBook's lighting, sensing, dimming, sleep/hibernation, and ports.
