How do I get my samsung j1 to power on?

My phone was working with no faulty or damages, i switched it off about 3weeks back using another handset, but now when i try to power it on it doesn't budge, it blank and doesn't even shows a samsung logo. I tried to get it checked they told it locked itself, there's no damages or any faulty with it, it just locked. Please help?
