kenmore 2671532412 will not cycle

I replaced the tube seal and now it will not agitate or spin. If placed on a normal wash cycle it will fill with water and agitate once and stop. This happens every time the start button is pressed and only wash light flashes. If placed on spin only, it will start to spin and cut off after a second or two, only spin light flashes.

lid lock works, and drive is completely intact
