Lack of use caused frozen printer head

Have you tried doing a printhead clean a few times (try up to 5 times), to see if this clears the printhead?

Here’s a link to the user manual for your printer.

Click on Solving problems > Solving Print Quality problems > White or dark lines in printout > Printhead Cleaning and then select the option that suits you best, either from the printer’s control panel or from a computer.

Be aware that this may not work in clearing the printhead but it will consume a lot of ink.

There are also printer repair services that provide printhead cleaning kits as an option that you may wish to consider.

If you wish to consider this option there are are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for Epson Artisan 1430 printhead cleaning kit and check the results.
