Digitizer not working after replacement

Hello. A few years ago, my iPad 2 have been exposured to high pressure in my bag. And as you can guess, it’s digitizer stopped working. I’ve taken it to some phone repair services, but they couldn’t fixed it. And yesterday I wanted to give it one more shot. And bought a new digitizer. And few hours ago I have connected the digitizer to the device. But it did not work at all. And now I’m thinking to change the logic board completely. Can this solve the problem? Thanks in advance.
